Strava Fires Woman After Viral San Francisco Bar Fight Sparks Outrage

San Francisco police have unmasked the woman whose alcohol-soaked rampage at a posh restaurant went viral this week — and her tech employer says she’s already been shown the door.

Police say the woman caught on video taunting and pummeling staff at Hazie’s is Shireen Afkari — a marketing manager at fitness app Strava, according to a now-deleted LinkedIn profile — who was body-slammed by a bartender before later tripping and face-planting on a Hayes Valley sidewalk, KRON reported.

Police responded at 9:41 p.m. Saturday after Afkari — accompanied by a male companion — was dragged out of the restaurant for attempting to strike staff and forcefully slapping a phone out of someone else’s hands.

“He’s f—ing harassing me,” Afkari can be heard shouting at a bartender off camera, just before staffer Miguel Marchese hauled her outside and later shared footage of the incident on Instagram.

“Ooooh, he’s a liar.”

Afkari was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to county jail, according to police.

“We are aware of an employee who exhibited extremely concerning off-hours behavior. We don’t condone violence of any kind and this does not reflect the standards we expect of our team,” Strava wrote in an Instagram comment. “This past Monday, we made the decision to end the individual’s employment.”
