The event, headlined by Dr. Frank Turek and Rob Schneider, will cap off the high-profile 'This Is The Turning Point' tour.

The event comes just two months after TPUSA co-founder Charlie Kirk was tragically killed at a campus appearance in Utah on September 10.

The clash broke out around 4:30 p.m. PT, catching everyone by surprise.

Amid the chaos, two men clashed violently, with one bleeding profusely from his face.

Footage from Fox News Digital captures a crowd of agitators swarming around the violent fight.

Many protesters donned keffiyehs and waved signs emblazoned with left-leaning slogans.

Local police struggled to contain the agitators, donning protective shields and gathering batons as tensions escalated.

The number of participants injured in the chaos remains unclear.

The Berkeley Police Department told Fox News Digital that at least two people had been taken into custody by 6 p.m. local time.

“I do not have the specific details of what the arrests were for,” the police spokesperson said.

“At this point, I can share that one of the parties was arrested for battery.”

A UC Berkeley spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the altercation occurred off campus and declined to provide further details.

Turek, who mentored Kirk, spoke to Fox News Digital last week about the highly anticipated Berkeley event.

In the interview, Turek said he told Kirk that the UC Berkeley stop was the one he was most eager to attend.

“If I could go to any one event with him, it would be that one,” the Christian author said.

“I wanted to go to UC Berkeley because it is so progressive and liberal in their views, and I wanted to provide evidence that Christianity was indeed true.”

Once the event ended, protesters swarmed the exits, hurling insults and obscenities at attendees as they made their way out.
