A teenage apprentice at a woodshop in Turkey has died after coworkers forced a high-pressure air hose into his rectum in a brutal so-called ‘prank’ — the latest case in which this reckless misuse of an air compressor has ended a young man’s life by causing catastrophic internal injuries.
The so-called joke took a horrific turn on Friday, when Habip Aksoy and another teen allegedly overpowered 15-year-old Muhammed Kendirci and tied his hands inside the Sanliurfa woodworking center, local outlet Milliyet reported.
They allegedly pulled off his pants and forced an air-compressor hose into his rectum — an act that caused devastating internal injuries.

Kendirci was rushed to Harran University Research and Application Hospital, but despite intensive treatment, he died five days later, according to Milliyet.
Aksoy was initially arrested and released on probation, only to be detained again later, the outlet reported. It was not immediately clear what charges he faces.
The high-pressure air hose — a tool commonly used for everything from auto repairs to sanding and running nail guns — has claimed the lives of two other teenage boys in recent years.
