A Florida high school cheerleader who died aboard a Carnival Cruise ship was reportedly discovered by a cabin steward—wrapped in a blanket and hidden under a bed.
Anna Kepner, 18, was found dead in her cabin on Nov. 7 during a six-day Caribbean cruise with her family aboard the Carnival Horizon — but heartbreakingly, her relatives say they’ve been given almost no answers about what happened.
But two sources told the Daily Mail that when the Titusville teen was discovered, she had been wrapped in a blanket, covered with life jackets, and pushed underneath a bed.

According to sources, the night before, Anna told her family at dinner that she wasn’t feeling well — then quietly returned to her cabin.
But the next morning, when her family gathered for breakfast, Anna was nowhere to be found.
Her family frantically searched the massive ship, which holds nearly 4,000 passengers, but it was a cabin steward who found Anna’s body around 11 a.m. while cleaning her room.
Following the grim discovery, the ship immediately altered its course for the Port of Miami, Florida.

The Miami-Dade County medical examiner recorded Anna’s time of death as 11:17 a.m. on Nov. 7 — but offered no details on how she died.
The FBI is now investigating the case since Anna died in international waters, but her grieving father, Christopher Kepner, said last week that officials haven’t shared any details about how she died.

“I have no idea what is going on right now. We are just trying to sit still and wait for answers,” he told the Faqinsurances.
Anna — affectionately nicknamed "Anna Banana" by her family — was preparing to graduate from Temple Christian School in Titusville this May.
The gymnast and cheerleader had just completed her military entrance exam, her family said.
