Far-Left Politician Ejected Mid-Speech During Trump’s Address to Israel’s Parliament

A far-left Israeli lawmaker sparked boos as he brazenly shouted over President Trump during his speech to parliament—only to be swiftly escorted out by security.

Ofer Cassif, a far-left MP from the Hadash party, erupted in shouts just as Trump was lauding his special envoy, Steve Witkoff, for helping bring "peace to the Middle East."

What Cassif was shouting wasn’t immediately clear, but security quickly hustled him out to cheers from most of Israel’s MPs—who otherwise showered Trump with endless rounds of applause.

Security then moved in on another Knesset member and escorted him out as well.

Ahead of Trump’s arrival, Cassif took to X with a lengthy post denouncing the US president’s visit.

“Today, Trump is arriving at the Knesset to deliver a victory speech, undoubtedly filled with self-aggrandizement and lies,” he wrote on Monday.

“With his complete support for the murderous government, he not only enabled the continuation of the genocide but also the continued abandonment of the kidnapped,” Cassif wrote, before adding, “Don’t thank him: boo him!”

Earlier this July, Cassif was barred from parliamentary activity for two months after criticizing Israeli troops’ actions in Gaza and calling for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be investigated for war crimes by the International Criminal Court, the Times of Israel reported.

Trump has arrived in Jerusalem to address Israel’s parliament, shortly after the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas.

No one could immediately make out what he was shouting.
