Federal Bank has added a new tenure of 444 days offering the highest interest rate of 7.50% for general (non-senior) citizens. Earlier, the highest rate offered was 7.40% on tenure of 777 days and 50 months. Penalty on premature withdrawal of FD
The bank will not charge any penalty if the withdrawal is made within 15 days for deposits less than Rs 3 crore. For deposits held above 15 days, the bank levies a penalty of 1% of the interest earned on deposit.
