Punjab National Bank has added two new tenures for fixed deposits (FD) on amounts less than Rs 3 crore. The bank has added a new tenure of 303 days with an interest rate of 7%. The other tenure which has been added is 506 days, with an interest rate of 6.7% for general citizens. The highest interest rate of 7.75% is offered on a tenure of 400 days. PNB ‘s new tenure of 303 days will fetch an interest rate of 7.50%. Latest PNB FD interest rates for super senior citizens
Punjab National Bank offers fixed deposit interest rates between 4.30% and 8.05% for tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years for super senior citizens. The highest interest rate of 8.05% is offered on a tenure of 400 days. Fixed deposits on PNB’s new tenure of 303 days will fetch an interest rate of 7.80%. FDs on the other tenure of 506 days will give an interest rate of 7.50% for super senior citizens.According to the PNB website, “Super Senior Citizens of age 80 years & above shall get additional rate of interest of 80bps over applicable card rate across all maturity buckets. In case of retired staff members who are also Super Senior Citizens, maximum rate of interest to be allowed over applicable card rate shall be 180 bps over applicable card rate across all maturity buckets.”
