Cardano retesting lower levels before next leg up
Cardano holders have been vindicated after months of protracted ranging action that saw Cardano (ADA) hover around $0.32. Cardano broke out with a near-vertical surge that raked in nearly 200% in monthly gains, which led to ADA soaring above the $1 mark and forming a local high of $1.13.
Avalanche enters cool-off phase after major breakout
Avalanche (AVAX) claims a Layer-1 platform in the crypto space, having just launched a test version of the long-anticipated AVAX9000 upgrade. This Avalanche upgrade is presently live on the Fuji testnet and is projected to reduce 99% of deployment costs for decentralised applications while allowing for interchain communication.
At press time, Avalanche sells for $40 with a 13% 24-hour decrease. This correction comes after a 60% monthly surge that saw Avalanche escape its trading range around the $25 mark. CoinMarketCap data shows that buyers are stepping in to scoop up the dip, as reflected by the 9% increase in intraday volume, with roughly $1.9 billion worth of Avalanche tokens traded on exchanges.
Polkadot retests support, sentiment is still bullish
After spending months on the sidelines, Polkadot (DOT) took the spotlight with a 156% surge. Polkadot tore through major resistance levels, peaking at $10.09. As traders took profits, a pullback followed, which led to Polkadot settling at $7.92 with a 12.2% intraday decline.
According to analyst Rekt Capital, Polkadot entered an ascending channel after breaking above the descending trendline. However, Polkadot must close the month above $8.61 for a long-term bullish thesis to be confirmed. If Polkadot reclaims and holds this crucial level, the way will be paved for a run to $20 that could unfold by the end of the year.
