Banks revise their fixed deposit interest rates now and then without prior intimation. Recently, Yes bank revised its fixed deposit interest rate. SBI also revised its fixed deposit interest rates last month. Now let's compare these revised FD rates with the interest rates of other major banks such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, PNB, and Canara Bank.
Yes Bank FD interest rates
After the revision, regular citizens can now avail of interest rates ranging from 3.25 per cent to 8 per cent, while senior citizens are offered rates between 3.75 per cent and 8.50 per cent. SBI FD interest rates
The bank has hiked its fixed deposit interest rates by 75 basis points (bps) on deposits maturing between 46 days and 179 days from 4.75% to 5.50%. For senior citizens, the bank has hiked from 5.25% to 6% on the same tenure.SBI raised the interest rate on the tenure of 180 days to 210 days by 25 bps from 5.75 % to 6% for general citizens. The bank has hiked FD rates by 25 bps on tenure of 211 days to less than 1 year from 6% to 6.25% for general citizens and 6.75% for senior citizens from 6.50%. However, the highest interest rate of 7.10% remains unchanged.
HDFC Bank FD interest rates
The bank offers interest rates between 3.5% to 7.25% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years for general citizens. The Bank has hiked on tenure of 18 months to less than 21 months from 7% to 7.25%. The bank offers interest rates between 3.5% to 7.75% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years.The new FD rates are effective from February 9, 2024, as per the HDFC Bank website.
ICICI Bank FD interest rates
The bank offers interest rates between 3% to 7.20% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years for amounts below Rs 2 crore for general citizens. For senior citizens, the bank offers interest rate between 3.50% to 7.75%. The highest interest rate of 7.20%and 7.75% is offered for tenure of 15 months to less than 2 years. The rates are effective from February 17, 2024.Axis Bank FD interest rates
The bank offers interest rates between 3% to 7.20% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years for amounts below Rs 2 crore. For senior citizens, the bank offers interest rate between 3.50% to 7.85%.
