The SBI Wecare FD scheme is designed specifically for senior citizens and has a term of 5 to 10 years. Under the SBI Wecare FD scheme, SBI is offering a 7.50% interest rate to senior citizens. The scheme is valid till June 30, 2023.HDFC Bank Senior Citizen Care FD: July 7
HDFC Bank launched a new fixed deposit called Senior Citizen Care FD in May 2020. Under this special FD scheme, the bank offers an additional interest rate of 0.25% (beyond the existing premium of 0.50%) on deposits of less than Rs 5 crores for a term ranging from five years to ten years. The bank is giving a 7.75% interest rate. The scheme will end on July 7, 2023.According to the HDFC Bank website, “In case of premature closure of Fixed Deposit booked in the above offer (including sweep in / partial closure) post 5 years, the interest rate will be 1.25% below the contracted rate or the base rate applicable for the period the deposit has remained with the bank, whichever is lower.”
Indian Bank Special FD- IND SHAKTI 400 DAYS: June 30
Under the IND SHAKTI 555 DAYS scheme, the bank is offering 7.25 % to the general public and 7.75% to senior citizens. The bank offers 8% interest for senior citizens for tenure of 400 days. The minimum investment in this plan is Rs.10,000, and the maximum investment is less than Rs.2 Crore for 400 days with callable options.
